Emeryville’s Gracenote Inc. has begun providing its lyrics library to MetroLeap Media Inc.’s music Web site MetroLyrics.com , Gracenote said Thursday.
MetroLeap Media and Gracenote today announced an agreement allowing MetroLeap’s flagship site, MetroLyrics, to provide its users with Gracenote’s catalog of lyrics — the largest database of licensed, complete and accurate song lyrics in the world.
A new partnership with Gracenote means songwriters will get a cut of ad revenue generated by the popular site.
